Corrections

The register is only worth keeping if it is right. If a figure, a date, a grade, or a withering hour on these pages is wrong, tell us: use the "suggest a correction" link at the foot of the article, or write to the address above. We treat a report as a pointer, not a patch. We go back to the source and check it ourselves, and if it holds, the entry is corrected and the correction is dated and shown. Our Terms record how this works.

Questions

A question sent from the foot of an article joins the queue. We do not answer in private with a guess; we research the good ones from sources and answer them on the site, cited, where the next reader can find them. A question that keeps arriving is treated as a commission.

What we will not do

We do not give medical advice. The health science on white tea is read carefully and cited precisely here, or not invoked at all, and a private reply is held to the same rule. We do not appraise your aged cake or tell you what it is worth; the market sets the price, and the Trust only records what it says. And nothing sent to this address buys a word on these pages: advertising is labeled and kept apart from the register.
